Jessica and Josh met me out in DUMBO on one of the last warm(ish) weekends this fall. I loved the way they dressed, especially with the neutral muted colors DUMBO offers as a background. I had so much fun shooting with you guys, and thanks to Josh for missing the game for this :)
I had such a great time with this family in NYC last week. Their 4 year old kept us entertained for the entire hour with his stories and information about firemen. It was actually great weather for a shoot. November is not too late if you're interested in doing a photo for the holidays!
Katie and Matt were married on a very rainy day in October. Luckily, the park she had planned to have her pictures taken in offered a huge canopy of beautiful orange and yellow trees which made for a great backdrop and a huge umbrella. I loved the umbrellas she had brought for everyone and the pictures ended up turning out just great. Look how stormy it was when we got to the church!

This post is a preview for Kate so she can get some peace of mind and end her sleepless nights. She called me a few days ago and expressed her concerns that her venue was too dark. I think she was afraid we didn't get any good shots. But alas, external lighting did the trick and your pictures look awesome! Sleep well :)
The weather. The colors. The feeling of the holidays so quickly approaching, I don't think I've been to a fall wedding that I haven't enjoyed. I was in rural Pennsylvania for this one so you can imagine the magnificence of the fall colors. Here are a few of my favorites, as well as one from Jeff from Sabotta Imagery, who did a great job assisting!
On Monday I had the opportunity to take some pictures of this beautiful baby, just 11 days old. He was such a sweet little baby and after what we put him through, he was surprisingly very calm and quiet for most of my time there. Their home turned into a fantastic studio for me and I need to thank them for turning the place upside down and taking over! Thank you for sharing your little guy with me!
Michelle and Luke were married on Sunday, September 14th in Brooklyn, New York. I LOVE the opportunity to shoot in Dumbo, especially in Brooklyn Bridge Park where they were married. Everything was so bright and beautiful and Michelle chose the most fantastic dress and veil. We all agreed she looked glamorous! I had a great time shooting the two of them after the ceremony. For me, it is such a special time to shoot. It's the first hour of their married lives, both the bride and groom are so happy and have such a calm, contented feeling that the most stressful part is over! This could be a double post....we'll see how it goes. I just love so many of the shots from this wedding.
This engagement session was so much fun. Shalena and Oliver are a special couple for me because they are both people I knew separately from one another when we were all just teenagers. When I received Shalena's email about wedding packages and I found out that she was engaged to Oliver I knew I wanted to shoot their wedding. There is a special bond I feel with many of my clients but seeing two people I already knew growing together into a family is certainly special for me and I feel so lucky to be a part of their "almost" married lives! I can't wait for their winter wedding just after Christmas!
I got to spend August 30 at the Pyramid Club in Philadelphia with Brigette and Davor. The club is located on the 52nd floor and the view of the city was amazing! Both the bride and groom had several friends and family traveling LONG distances (Davor's family made the trip from Croatia). Surprisingly, Brigette and Davor made the longest trip of anyone, traveling from their new digs in Australia. Imagine a 24 hour flight to get to your own wedding! Here are a few of my favorites...
This will have to be divided into two posts because of all of the pictures I want to include. Val and Brendan had stormy weather for their wedding but we were able to grab about 45 minutes outside in between showers. The light was great and the grounds were beautiful. I think their formals really turned out great. The next post will have some highlights from the reception where everyone was entertained by Jellyroll. From what I understand, Valerie intended on having them for her wedding since the day she got engaged and they really were fantastic!
Here are three from Friday's wedding in Norristown, PA. Valerie was such a gorgeous bride. I loved her earrings and the way she chose to have her hair done. Her family was so incredibly welcoming and warm and it was really nice working with everyone involved in her day. More to come on the rest of the day....and the groom!
