Part 3

More Jen and John for you. There are so many photos I want to post from their wedding. I've decided to post them but divide them up in sections. I think it's important to see more photos from one wedding because it will give you a better idea of what to expect if your wedding is coming up! Wedding photography is about quality AND quantity so I'll do my best to give you both on the blog starting now :)

Back to Knowlton...

I want to post some more images from Jen and John's day a few weeks ago. Here are some of my favorites from the first half of the day.

a very brief look

Last Saturday I was back in Philadelphia shooting at Knowlton Mansion. There are horses in the backyard! It was great for photos. We had such a nice chunk of time to shoot in between the ceremony and the cocktail hour. We made it to the Art Museum and then back to the venue for a different feel. I LOVE this photo of Jennifer, she looks gorgeous. More to come.

Part 2 : Allie and Brendan

Allie and Brendan

My first wedding of 2009 took place in Philadelphia at the Glen Foerd Mansion. I met Allie and Brendan in Manhattan and discovered that Allie works as a designer for Anna Maier Ulla-Maija wedding gowns. You can imagine the excitement surrounding Allie's dress design and the surprise when it was finally revealed! As you can see below, it was absolutely exquisite. Not only was the entire dress hand-beaded with sequins and pearls but she designed a cutaway train which was removed for the reception. The entire event was fabulous and the Glen Foerd only added to the beauty of it.

Check out Allie's fur...she worked with a furrier who created this especially for her. It had a silvery-blue tint which was perfect for the season. Perfect for a winter bride!

Shalena and Oliver

My last wedding from 2008! I have known both Shalena and Oliver for nearly a decade which made their wedding really special for me to photograph. It was not only neat reconnecting with them after so long but also bearing witness to their loving relationship which so obviously makes them very happy. Below are a few shots from their wedding at Bear Creek. I seem to have picked a lot of black and whites and images with muted color which I think can be attributed to the feeling of having a winter wedding. Enjoy!

DUMBO

Jessica and Josh met me out in DUMBO on one of the last warm(ish) weekends this fall. I loved the way they dressed, especially with the neutral muted colors DUMBO offers as a background. I had so much fun shooting with you guys, and thanks to Josh for missing the game for this :)
